Levin Holiday Park
Just a fifteen minute drive from adventure or relaxation – every taste is covered at Levin Holiday Park! Drive one way and you’ll reach the Tararuas – mountainous ranges that are great for tramping and sightseeing. There are tracks for beginners right through to experienced trampers. Head the other way and you’ll be able to drive – yes, drive – onto Waitarere beach, great for a family day out where you don’t even have to unpack everything from the car.
We have plenty of room for singles and doubles, to families, school groups and sports teams in our range of accommodation – choose from the Park Motel and self contained units, cabins, camper sites and tent spaces. We’ve recently renovated the entire park, inside and out, so you’ll be sure to enjoy a modern, clean, cosy stay. You’ll also find Wi-Fi throughout the park, and we take pets by arrangement, so your furry friend may be able to join you as well.
The centre of Levin is only a 10 minute walk from Levin Holiday Park, meaning we’re close to everything our wonderful town has to offer. Levin itself is a thriving hub of restaurants, cafes and shopping experiences, with a number of outlet stores to peruse. The kids will enjoy both our newly upgraded playground as well as the Levin Adventure Park, which is run by a charitable trust who do great work to ensure the park remains a favourite for kids all over the country and the world.
Only a 1.5 hour drive from the ferry, many people stop in Levin on their way to or from the Cook Straight, and keep coming back after that to enjoy all that Levin has to offer.
Art lovers will enjoy visiting Studio 202 – the gallery and working studio of award-winning New Zealand artist Ronda Turk, or if wine is more your thing, the Celtic Organic Winery offers great tours and tastings, and was the first in New Zealand to be fully certified as organic.
We’ll be honoured to host you and look forward to your arrival!
