Motels
Accommodation Features
- Sleeps 2-8 people.
- Self-contained units including own shower and toilet facilities, as well as kitchen facilities and utensils, TV, and radio.
- Some parks can also offer a similar unit with tea/coffee-making facilities only.
- Many holiday park motel units have two separate bedrooms or sleeping areas.
- It is common for holiday park motel units to have extra beds in the living area (e.g. divans).
- Bedding and towels are included and motel units are serviced daily.
- Complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and milk are provided on arrival.
Tariff Range -
$90 - $220 per night for two people.
Self Contained Units
Accommodation Features
- Sleeps 2-8 people
- Self-contained units with beds or bunks
- Contain their own shower and toilet facilities, as well as full kitchen facilities and utensils, and television
- If the unit sleeps three or more people, one bedroom will be separate.
- It is common for tourist flats to have extra beds in the living area (e.g divans)
- Tourist flats are non-serviced units.
- Linen can be hired (if not already included in tariff).
Tariff Range -
$80-$220 per night for two people.
The majority of units will have linen included in their price, especially units at the higher end of the tariff range.
Bathroom Cabins
Accommodation Features
- Sleeps 2-6 people.
- Similar to a Standard Cabin but do include shower and toilet facilities.
- Most contain tea and coffee making provisions, but not cooking facilities.
- Guests must supply their own bed-linen, blankets and towels, although linen is available for hire.
- Guests can use the park's communal kitchen facilities.
Tariff Range -
$70-100 per night for two people (linen not included). Prices may vary.
Kitchen Cabins
Accommodation Features
- Sleeps 2-6 people
- Some cabins consist of two rooms, with the bedroom being separate from living area.
- Cabin has hot and cold water, cooking facilities and utensils, and possibly a refrigerator.
- Guests to supply own bed-linen, blankets and towels. Linen is also available for hire.
- Guests use the park's communal shower and toilet facilities.
Tariff Range -
$75- $120 per night for two people (linen not included). Prices may vary.
Standard Cabins
Accommodation Features
- Sleeps 2-6 people.
- Basic 1 cabin room.
- Contains either beds or bunks with mattresses and pillows.
- Guests to supply own bed-linen, blankets and towels. Linen is also available for hire.
- Guests use the park's communal kitchen, shower and toilet facilities.
Tariff Range -
$40-$70 per night for two people (linen not included).
Powered Sites
Accommodation Features
- Powered sites have connections for campervans and caravans.
- Sites are usually situated on grass.
- Some parks have special provision for campervans including parking on concrete or paved hardstands.
- Includes use of all communal park facilities such as kitchen, showers/toilets and laundry. Please note that some parks operate coin operated showers.

Prices for these sites vary from $17 per adult to up to $22 per adult (per night). Prices may vary.
Non-Powered Sites
Accommodation Features
- Sites for tents, caravans and campervans (without power).
- Sites are usually situated on grass.
- Includes use of all communal park facilities such as kitchen, showers/toilets and laundry. Please note that some parks operate coin operated showers.

Prices for these sites vary from $17 per adult to up to $22 per adult (per night). Prices may vary.
Hostels and Lodges
Accommodation Features
- Basic backpacker-style accommodation.
- Particularly suitable for larger groups.
- Individual rooms vary, from bunk-rooms to bedrooms with en-suite facilities.
- Mattresses and pillows are provided.
- Guests to supply own bed-linen, blankets and towels.
- Guests use the communal shower and toilet facilities, usually in the same building, or nearby.
- Hostels and lodges are often equipped with communal kitchen, dining room and other facilities.
- Meals may be available by arrangement.
