| This park is unique, nature at its best. Nestled in the Hunters Hills adjacent to native bush. Our special features are the Nocturnal and Twilight Bush Walks and the Farmyard Animal Park. You can discover Bennetts Wallabies (liberated here in 1874 and the only place in NZ where they roam free) and kiwi bears (opossums) wandering free in the native bush. The Animal Park has animals to pet, feed and milk and eggs to collect. Although a small park, we offer huge hospitality, a place to enjoy a peaceful clean, green environment and wake up to the sound of bellbirds. | Travelling on SH82 through Waimate Town Centre, turn into Mill Rd at the Criterion Hotel cnr. Follow the Holiday Park signs 7km west to Kelcey's Bush. Northbound travellers on SH1 turn into Waimate at the Yellow Barn and follow directions as above. | |||||||||||||||||||
