Geraldine is simply unique. Geraldine is situated 2 hours (136 km) south of Christchurch on the inland scenic route 72 to Mount Cook and Queenstown. The town and its surrounding district has something for everyone. Attractions and activities include walks, garden visits, artists, craft people, white water rafting, golf, 4x4 tours, fishing, museum, scenic drives and movies at the historic cinema. The domain adjacent to the camp has a heated swimming pool, squash and tennis courts, bowling green, sports field, children’s playground and picnic areas. The Geraldine motor camp is a tranquil park set among huge specimen trees in the center of town, just a 200 m walk to the shops.
